2. Neemrana Fort :- Built in 1464 AD, Neemrana Fort place is India ’s oldest heritage resort. Situated at 122 Kms on Delhi- Jaipur highway on a majestic plateau, concealed in a horse- shoe formation of an old Aravali range. Neemrana became the third capital of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan III, who was killed in battle by Mohammad Ghori. The property covers 25 acres and the stepped palaces of this architectural jewel cut into the hillside. The palaces rise to 10 levels commanding the most splendid view. The ruins of this fort have been sensitively resorted and reconstructed. The rooms are furnished with an eclectic mix of traditional Indian and colonial furniture antiques and objects d’art.
