After breakfast around 8.30 a.m – journey by road will start for Agra (220 kms / 4 hours drive). On arrival in Agra , check in to the hotel.
Afternoon – proceed for the sightseeing tour of the city visiting one of the Seven Wonders of the World Taj Mahal with its romantic glory and architectural marvel. This beautifully constructed monument is considered as most symmetrically designed structure. Taj Great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal in 1652 for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 years to create this jewel. Later visit Agra Fort on the bank of river Yamuna. Four successive Mughal rulers has added on to make this massive Fort with their distinctive different style of architecture.
Evening free for shopping. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 03: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
After breakfast around 7.30 a.m - drive to Jaipur, en-route visiting Fort at Fatehpur Sikri. Once the capital of Mughal Empire, this fort was built by Great third Mughal Emperor Akber. The massive structure was built purely by using Red sandstone. Its fortification and palaces are still in wonderful state of preservation.
Later drive to Jaipur (total distance from Agra is 235 kms / 6 hours drive). On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel
Day 04: Jaipur
Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan one of the most colorful state in India . City is also popularly known as Pink City as all the buildings in old city are painted in pink.
After breakfast – proceed for excursion of Amber Fort located on the outskirt of the city. The Fort is remarkable for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements and beautiful palaces. Since the fort is located on top of a barren hill – it gives a breathtaking view of its surroundings. Also enjoy a joy ride on Elephant to ascend the rampart.
Afternoon – proceed for sightseeing tour of the Pink City visiting City Palace – where the former Maharaja’s family still resides in one part. Rest of the Palace now serves as a Museum. It has a rich collection of Rajput weaponry and treasures of Royal House like textiles, carpets, miniature paintings and precious manuscripts etc. Later visit Jantar Mantar – the astronomical observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh – a great astronomer himself. Finally visit Hawa Mahal ( Palace of Winds ) with its architectural marvel. Later drive past the glittering streets of Jaipur and its bazaar with color and full of activities.
Jaipur is famous for gems, precious and semi precious stone & jewelery, textiles with embroidery and mirror works, Sanganer block printing and carpets. After the sightseeing spend some time for shopping. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur - Jodhpur
Early morning – transfer to the airport for flight CD 7471 at 7.10 a.m. Arrive Jodhpur at 7.50 a.m. Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Set at the edge of the Thar desert , the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. Once the capital of Marwar state, Rao Jodha founded it in 1459 A.D.
Afternoon – proceed for the city sightseeing tour visiting massive 15 th century A.D fort of Mehrangarh – the 5 km long on a hight of 125 m hill is one of the most impressive and formidable structures. Almost invincible from the outside, the fort has four gates approached by winding road. With in the fort are some magnificent palaces with marvelously carved panels, latticed windows. Also visit Jaswant Thada – a cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built in 1899 A.D in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.
Evening – leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
After the breakfast check out from the hotel and drive down to Jaisalmer (290 kms / 6 hours drive). On arrival, check in to the hotel.
Rising from the heart of the Desert like a golden mirage is the city of Jaisalmer .
Evening – experience the exhilarating camel ride at Sam – the golden sand dunes outside the city to get a feel of desert life and spectacular sunset.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur Breakfast in the hotel. Later proceed for Half day sightseeing tour of the city visiting The Fort – is a splendid sight with its yellow sand stonewalls and bastions that seems to rise from the golden sands. Inside the fort has an e\nchanting cow – web of narrow lanes dotted with some lovely havelis, three beautifully sculpture Jain temples of 12 – 15 th century A.D and five interconnected palaces. Other interesting places are Gadsisar lake, Tazia Tower – pagoda like structure and various havelis most important one are Nathmalji ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli with exquisitely carved pillars and extensive corridors and chambers.
Afternoon - drive back to Jodhpur (290 kms/6 hours drive). On arrival, check in to the hotel. Stay over night at the hotel.
Day 08: Jodhpur - Udaipur
Transfer to the airport to board flight CD 7471 at 8.20 A.M. Arrive Jodhpur at 9 a.m. Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Later proceed for the sightseeing tour of the city.
Udaipur is called as The Venice of East since the entire city has come up on the bank twin lakes of Pichola and Fateh Sagar. The City Palace and other Royal building give a fairy tale look and each are more beautiful than the others.
During your sightseeing visit City Palace in all its ancient glory, the residence of the Maharaja of Udaipur. It has several carved balconies, arches and decorated pillars. One can get a breathtaking view of lake Pichola from any of the pavilions. Later visit Jag Mandir and finally on to Sahelion ki Bari or the Gardens of Maids of honour famous for its spectacular lawns, fountains and shady walks.
Evening – take a leisurely boat ride on Lake Pichola . Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Udaipur - Ranakpur - Udaipur
Breakfast in the hotel. Later proceed for full day excursion to Ranakpur – renowned for some marvelously carved Jain temples in amber stone, set in seclusion in the middle of Aravali Hills. The cluster of temples made of intricately sculpted on white marble come across as a marvelous feat of architecture. These temples were built in 1460 A.D, the main temple is supported on 1444 pilars – non of which is similarly carved
Return to hotel at late afternoon. Stay overnight at the hotel. Day 10: Udaipur - Mumbai
Breakfast in the hotel. Later transfer to the airport for early flight 9W 3401 at 8.50 a.m to Mumbai. Arrive Mumbai at 10.35 a.m. Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Mumbai is the commercial capital of India a melting pot of cultures, commercial activities a true cosmopolitan cocktail of race and colour. The city is the gigantic metropolis with towering skyscrapers, historic bunglow and one of the most efficient and effective suburban transport system.
Afternoon – sightseeing tour of the city visiting gateway of India , Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Garden , Crowford Market and driving past Marine Drive , which turns to Queen’s neckless after the dark.
Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Mumbai - Aurangabad
Breakfast in the hotel. Morning – free for independent activities. Afternoon – transfer to the airport for flight IC 887 at 3.40 p.m to Aurangabad . Arrive Aurangabad at 4.25 p.m. Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Evening – leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Aurangabad
Aurangabad – is named after the Great Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb who resided here and built an impregnable Fort. Aurangabad gained its importance on tourist map due to close proximity to Ajanta & Ellora caves – the wonders of human artistic creation.
Breakfast in the hotel. Later – proceed for full day sightseeing of Ajanta Caves . Situated almost 110 kms north of Aurangabad are the clustersof 30 rock – hewn caves of more than 2000 years old. One can see the cave paintings recount the life of Lord Buddha and the tales of the prince’s earthly experience.
Return to hotel in late afternoon. Evening – leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 13: Aurangabad – Delhi
After breakfast proceed for the sightseeing tour of Ellora caves. Situated almost 40 kms from the city – unlike Ajanta . Ellora shrines are not exclusively Buddhist, but of the Hindu & Jain faiths as well.
Late afternoon – transfer to the airport for flight IC 888 at 5.30 p.m to Delhi . Arrive Delhi at 8.55 hrs. Meet at the airport and transfer to hotel for wash & change.
Day 14: Leave Delhi
Early morning transfer the Delhi International airport for flight back home.
